Layout of the website

My client, Alisha, did not really have an idea of what she wanted on her site, so I looked through some templates that were made for models, actors, and photographers. These templates would work for Alisha because they all have similar layouts and number of pages. On the home page there could be a professional picture of Alisha or picture from one of her shows to showcase her in a professional way. Then in most of the templates they have an info paragraph underneath which Alisha could talk about what she has done to advance her career so far and how she plans to do so in the future after college. This would show that she is really dedicated to advancing her career and becoming better. The next page on most of these templates are galleries she could have her showreel on here along with other pictures of her in previous shows.

I sent her 5 links to different templates, to hopefully give her ideas of what she would want to include and look like. She said that she liked the last one which had 3 sections on one page, title + about, gallery, and contacts. She also had an idea about what she wanted to include on her website, said she wanted title page, about page, a showreel and experience.

the colour of the template was teal green, so I asked if she might want a different colour and she wanted pink not a hot pink though.

This is a basic layout of what the website might include and look like along with the colour it could be. to make the website i would be using wix, starting off with a template.

Meet up 

Alisha wants a showreel on her website and would like me to film it, so I asked her when the best time would be to film. She and I both has Wednesday afternoons free so decided to meet up on Wednesday 29^th of January. Which I will need a camera and tripod from Springboard to film her doing a couple of dances some are group dances. And then next Wednesday we planned to film singing and characters.

Unfortunately, she couldn’t do singing or characters this Wednesday because she got a sore throat so we decided that we would do it next Wednesday if she was feeling better. We had met up and she told me all this. So in the mean time she sent me pictures of her in plays she had done to put in the gallery.

Alisha still wasn't feeling well and she said she couldn't film next week as it was her dress rehearsals, so she said she would film herself when she has some free time and would send it to me through email.

editing 

When the filming is done for the dances I plan to start to edit a soon as I can access premiere pro, so in Dawn's lesson on Thursday. Alisha didn't have any ideas for how she wanted her showreel edited so I was think of cutting the dances down to a couple of seconds which would be the best part of the dance as a graphic comes up with the name of the dance and song come up in the corner.
